[11:45:59] ? [11:48:55] https://i.redd.it/qmaznn7e83q11.png [11:49:03] kangaroos must be dangerous [11:49:18] they have kick style that disbowels you [11:49:41] they grab hold of your shoulders and kick with both legs and their hind legs is very strong [11:49:44] some flightless birds too [11:49:52] disembowels? they don't have claws for that i suppose [11:50:01] Gasher[work]: who said they didnt? [11:50:11] are they raptors? [11:50:31] they dont use hands to disbowel [11:50:33] i have never seen their feet close [11:51:33] Rolf, i just imagined these raptor toes with large claws instead of kangaroo feet lol [11:51:40] I got a video link but its not kid friendly [11:51:45] oh [11:51:50] i believe then [11:51:52] one of em offs another [11:52:17] not disbowel but certainly uses same kick style [11:52:28] anyway a strong hit in that area would harm even without claws - ruptures of internal organs etc [11:53:13] yeah [12:22:30] #KSPOfficial: mode change '+o BPlayer' by ChanServ!ChanServ@services.esper.net [13:14:02] #KSPOfficial: mode change '+o Deddly' by ChanServ!ChanServ@services.esper.net [14:30:37] #destroyalldrills [14:47:44] hi [14:47:59] hello navi. hello lain [14:48:07] Hello, madmerlyn [14:48:15] it's been a while :P [14:48:21] Welcome back :) [14:59:34] re [15:39:20] #KSPOfficial: mode change '+o APlayer' by ChanServ!ChanServ@services.esper.net [16:29:51] pretty quiet in here, must be a busy Thursday for everyone [16:30:07] oh hello madmerlyn [16:30:11] long time since I last saw you [16:30:34] somehow lately there is not much going on [16:31:02] hiyas Flub [16:31:24] I started playing KSP again bout a week ago [16:31:37] trying to create autopilots in kRPC now instead of kOS [16:31:39] 1.5 in a few weeks [16:31:55] whit shiny parts [16:31:57] oh really? I didn't realize they were working on another version [16:32:14] and usable command seat at launch [16:32:14] I still haven't bought the DLC, I want it but I kinda don't want to support the new overlords, heh [16:32:27] not muhc else [16:32:56] one of the things I find curious are the way they defined reference frames in kRPC though [16:33:13] example if I call the retrograde function while in the orbital reference, it points my vessel anti-normal [16:33:21] but retrograde in surface reference points retrograde [16:33:37] strange [16:34:09] eh 416.16 driver [16:34:11] I havent been playing ksp that much altely [16:34:12] there's a whole page on it on the kRPC docs, I'm guessing the references had to be designed that way to simplify position to a 3 coordinate system? [16:34:51] workaround I've found is to interchange the anti-normal and retrograde functions in orbital reference, and then use the others in surface reference [16:35:11] it's just weird that that's how they're designed in kRPC [16:35:37] I haven't tested but I'm going to assume prograde and normal are flipped around the same way as well [17:08:05] #KSPOfficial: mode change '+o APlayer' by ChanServ!ChanServ@services.esper.net [17:13:31] Are you alive? [17:14:35] still alive [17:15:01] Woooo! A person or a bot! Are any of you actually a KSP person? [17:15:07] No. We're all zombies this month [17:15:27] Wooo! A person, zombie or bot! Even better! [17:15:28] next month we will be vampires [17:15:36] (Or, we can't answer gameplay questions if you don't ask them) [17:15:42] I'm out on the vampire thing, too over done. [17:15:48] ninja pirate zombie robot ttrope [17:16:03] Action: hoglahoo is a KSP kerbal [17:16:25] impossible, for that you would need to talk in backwards spanish [17:16:51] Its less a gameplay issue and more of a bug question. The last patch for KSP Enhanced Edition broke a lot of things and introduced more Kraken strikes. I was wondering if there is any word on when these things will start being addressed. [17:17:45] they are always in the process of fixes, when though... hard to say, no word on console release [17:20:32] I get you can't give hard dates I really do. But, is there somewhere I can look to see what bugs are being addressed? I mean its nearly as bad as Pre-Enhanced Edition when your saves were completely destroyed. The game is nearly unplayable now, which is really frustrating. [17:21:41] there is this https://bugs.kerbalspaceprogram.com/ [17:22:28] i am not sure if it is still maintained [17:22:45] Yeah, I've been there, and gotten pretty much smart aleck responses, or 0 responses. [17:23:56] I think the devs were outright ignoring it in favor of an internal bug tracker at one point. eg: the bugs for the PC version I submitted were left alone for years. =\ [17:24:24] i still have one open there [17:24:34] Some (all?) got addressed as incidental results of changes elsewhere. [17:24:44] the fastest way to get bugs fixed was ask taniwha to do it :) [17:24:53] https://66.media.tumblr.com/0842edc73e0bba801e756478322fd249/tumblr_pa43ecvOcU1r3a6jho1_r1_400.gifv [17:25:58] I don't know who taniwha is, and I assume there is another development studio involved in the port to consoles. I'm just trying to find out if these things are being looked at. [17:26:37] yes there is an other one [17:26:55] (who has the force :)) [17:28:13] So. . . basically its a, "We're not making enough money on Enhanced Edition so can't be bothered with it," kind of response? [17:29:35] it is blitworks [17:30:06] Do you know if they have a bug tracker, or do we have to go through squad's tracker for it? [17:30:14] and i found the bugtracker link on tumblr after the last patch release if enh. ed. [17:30:39] so probably no public interface to blitworks directly [17:31:35] Alright, well thank you I guess. [18:04:38] After we give Uranus a proper Latin name, and a non license plate name for 2007 OR10 [18:05:11] earth is the dumpster fire with all the idiots [18:08:39] so why does the dv map in the motd look slightly different than the older versions did. I land the vessel at 1m/s as soft as possible, and then the vessel is propelled into air at 12m/s [19:34:31] i blame the landing legs, without them the vessel just lands on its bed. [19:34:51] Is this a bug ? I've tried tweaking the dampeners and springs to no avail [19:40:22] Problem that while drilling without landing gear down the vessel is bouncing around. [19:40:35] On Mun this does not happen as i guess the gravity is strong enough [19:47:46] sounds vaguely buggy [19:48:22] #KSPOfficial: mode change '+o BPlayer' by ChanServ!ChanServ@services.esper.net [19:54:43] true kerbalist would harness the power of the free 12m/s [20:03:54] Ragnaman: Try using different landing legs.
