[00:50:37] <Guest83257> hey
[04:28:32] <lordcirth> I'm trying out the MH Engine Plates, and they are supposedly decouplers? But triggering them doesn't seem to separate anything for me, just a puff of smoke.
[04:51:32] <Wastl2> Lordcirth: are you using the correct attachment point?
[04:52:39] <Wastl2> Beneath the engine plate, there's one (or multiple) attachment point for the engine and below that another one for the next stage that can be decoupled.
[04:53:52] <lordcirth> Wastl2, yeah, I am attaching the engines directly and the stage below at a distance.
[04:54:23] <lordcirth> Well, I am on my main craft, anyway. I'll check the testbed
[04:54:53] <lordcirth> Ah, I see, I had attached it to the engine, which had a surprisingly far node
[04:56:00] <Wastl2> It becomes more obvious if you set the engine plate to the "long" variant.
[04:56:42] <lordcirth> That was actually the problem, "long" was so far it was off the screen
[04:56:54] <Wastl2> (And maybe easier to attach if the next part rapidly flickers between attachment points with a "short" engine plate.)
[09:00:29] <Mat2ch> 7th May could be first crewed SpaceX flight to the ISS
[09:00:31] <Mat2ch> wohoo!
[09:17:41] <hatrix> \o\
[11:24:47] <Blu3wolf> is anyone here able to offer support for modded KSP? Ive got a crash which doesnt seem to put anything in the log when it happens (logs here: http://blu3wolf.com/KSP/ )
[11:24:58] <Blu3wolf> happens on staging a procedural parts decoupler
[11:29:44] <Mat2ch> Finally I have enough fuel mined from Gilly to return to Kerbin with the mothership
[11:30:03] <Mat2ch> at Kerbin I can just send a tanker...
[11:49:08] <Blu3wolf> otherwise if anyone could point me in the direction of troubleshooting information Id love that, having trouble finding what I need on google...
[11:57:28] Action: Mat2ch has no idea how to debug this
[11:58:54] <Blu3wolf> me either sadly :/

[16:37:28] <Mat2ch> Yes, back from a 35 Y voyage.
[16:37:43] <Mat2ch> Next contract: Dive into the atmosphere of Jool
[16:37:55] <Althego> hehehe
[16:38:10] <Mat2ch> well... I have to redo the miner, then refuel the mothership and then back to Jool
[16:38:48] <Mat2ch> I hope the contract system isn't trolling me like: Dock two vessels around Jool and doesn't count the motherships parts as huge docked vessels...
[16:39:08] <Althego> i think they need to be launced separately
[16:39:19] <Mat2ch> Or set the next target to Moho or something
[16:39:31] <Mat2ch> those parts were all launched separately
[16:42:36] <Althego> then iti is just dumb
[16:47:38] <Mat2ch> it didn't happen yet
[16:47:44] <Mat2ch> but I'm waiting to get trolled :P
[18:11:11] <Althego> october sky is still a great (rocket) movie
[18:55:18] <Althego> scott
[18:55:35] <Althego> when did he reach 1 million subscribers?
[20:13:50] <Mat2ch> Althego: almost a weeks ago iirc

[22:54:46] <Eddi|zuHause> is subscribers even a relevant figure anymore?

[23:03:17] <darsie> I guess it correlates with viewers.
[23:13:08] <Eddi|zuHause> i don't think it really has for a long time
[23:23:59] <sandbox> I thought it was in december
[23:24:06] <sandbox> "almost a weeks ago"???
[23:24:23] <sandbox> anyhoo
